If you're feeling overwhelmed today, please read the words of this great song of encouragement!

How long has it been since you talked with the Lord
And told him your heart's hidden secrets?
How long since you prayed?
How long since you stayed
On your knees 'til the light shone through?

How long has it been since your mind felt at ease?
How long since your heart knew no burden?

Can you call him your friend?
How long has it been
Since you knew that he cared for you?

Did you know there is absolutely nothing wrong with removing yourself from the negativity in your life? If your thoughts are dominated by what others have and what you DON'T have, it's time to change your location AND your attitude!

Something to think about....

For all those who think church attendance is no big deal!

Truer words were never spoken!

In this politically correct, woke culture of ours...I like this!

Here's something to think about!

Are you looking for an anchor for your soul? Are you tired of trying the latest new thing only to see the excitement surrounding it start to fizzle in a very short time?

If that sounds like you, then we invite you to turn your attention to Jesus. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you, and if you're like most people, that's a promise worth pursuing!

Find a church that uses the Bible as its primary curriculum. Join a Bible study class. Ask lots of questions. And most importantly...read it for yourself! Take it slow and begin reading the gospel of John. Pray and ask the Lord to give you understanding. You'll be amazed at how quickly it all starts to make sense to you!

God's word never changes. That's because He never changes. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Why is this important to us today? It's important because we live in an ever-changing society, and change is sweeping through the Church.

Now, necessary change is a good thing, even in the Church. Hopefully, we can all agree on that. Traditions, customs, and preferences that are personal in nature however are NOT equal to scripture. Therefore, they must be modified and, in some cases, eliminated, otherwise they will lead us farther from the scriptures.

Such is the case today where it has become popular to modify or change the scriptures to fit our own thoughts, desires, and preferences. Let's be clear on this; on the subject of change, man must change in order to be able to live according to the precepts and commandments of scripture. The scriptures will never change to fit a particular society or culture. This is one reason why we see our world in the shape she is in. Instead of man humbling himself before God, he has elevated himself above God, thinking himself wise when in fact he is foolish.

Thank God that He never changes, and His word remains the same!
